Our engineers and scientists concentrate their R&D activities –many of which are performed in cooperation with universities
and private institutions – on viable, advanced product developments such as: emission-free mixtures based on bentonite for
foundries (ENVIBOND); effective additives for eliminating expansion defects and improving surface condition (ANTRAPEX);
speciality binding agents and additives for the magnesium-sand casting process (MG BOND).

We observe and analyse current technical and ecological trends, applying our newly found knowledge in the development of
advanced solutions. A full in-house complement of analytical technology – X-ray diffraction, AAS, IR, DTA, etc. – ensures
independent, rapid implementation of our research projects.

Highly qualified teams of scientists and application engineers are currently carrying out investigations into the emission behaviour
of organic materials and compositions in order to qualitatively determine odour nuisance and, with the aid of special absorbers,
to effectively reduce this both during and after casting.

The entire product range – irrespective of whether the materials involved are innovations or a further optimisation of established
items - is subject to ongoing further development in order to keep one step ahead of ever-rising foundry industry requirements
and customer demands. Our success and competence are evidenced by a wealth of satisfied users and, not least, numerous
patents, publications and technical articles.
